There is no single class or activity that will more prepare your teenager for college and life in general.
The teenager is by nature an aggressive communicator with a genuine desire to speak and communicate effectively. Our job as parents is not to thwart this enthusiasm, but to guide and train it. As teenagers study and speak out on important issues, they develop understanding and general knowledge. As they debate, they grow from self-centered human natures to discerning minds for the truth.
In the adult world of competition, those who are able to take ideas and articulate them well in a presentation, will be chosen leaders. Your children will have the advantage in any pursuit they undertake in life. Polished communicators are leaders. Let your children influence the world with the passions God has given them and watch them live out their life’s purpose.
We long for our children to be arrows for the King. We want to instill in them the confidence to take opportunities to speak for Christ and sway people to righteousness.
